Dr. Denise Pennywell was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Blytheville, Arkansas after the death of her mother.
Six months later she suffered the lost of her father. Denise graduated
salutatorian from Armorel High School in 1974 and was encouraged to attend college by her high school principal. She attended Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas which is
now known as William Baptist College where she attained her Associate of Arts degree, then attended Arkansas State University where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary-Early Childhood Education. Denise later received her Masters Degree from Central
Michigan University. She continued her education at Argosy University Atlanta where she received her Specialist in Education and her Doctorate degree in Education/Instructional Leadership. Denise retired in 2018 after teaching elementary education a total of 40 years in Arkansas, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Denise is a mother of three awesome children. She is currently living in Thomson, Georgia, where she enjoys journaling, reading, traveling, and sharing the goodness of God in the land of the living.
